Honors


Honor societies have a rich tradition of scholarship and service to our community. They allow students to interact with one another and form relationships with faculty and staff. Activities may include induction ceremonies, service projects, professional development seminars, and meetings regarding the graduate school application process.

No matter your discipline, you’ll have regular opportunities to conduct research, present at conferences (including the prestigious National Undergraduate Research Conference), and even have your work published — in fact, 29 students presented at conferences in our most recent academic year. The Kathleen A. Donnelly Center for Undergraduate Research can assist you with presentation skills, posters, technical support, and publication.

HEOP


The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) is a partnership between Russell Sage College and the New York State Education Department (NYSED). HEOP is designed to provide broad and varied educational instruction to capable students who, due to limited academic and financial resources, would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend Sage.

CSTEP


The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at Russell Sage College is a grant-funded program sponsored by the New York State Department of Education to support talented underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students pursuing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors and licensed health professional careers. CSTEP offers academic workshops and seminars, academic support and enrichment, career planning workshops, support in finding research or internship experience in STEM content areas, and numerous other opportunities critical to student success.
